We have some fresh stuff to offer from the greenhouse, Melody will be here with with lots of baked goods, Tom and Connie will participate, Kenny will have some produce, April and Mike have eggs, syrup and some gift items, Carol will have honey, and we will all have a good time. Please plan to join us.

Special Market this Wedenesday

Hello Friends,

I am writing to inform you that we will be conducting a special Farmer’s Market this Wenesday, 11/15/23, at our regular hours of 4 to 6 PM. Note that we will be inside for this market, so pull around to the back of our building and enter there. Melody will be bringing lots of her specialty baked items, Kenny is coming with some fresh fall greens and produce, April will be here with her specialty stuff, and we have potatoes and eggs. Tom and Connie might make an appearance, too! I am not taking pre-orders on the website for this one.

Blessings,
Bob and Lynnita

Please consider

Hi Friends,

The recent flooding on the West Fork left our dear friends at Chloe Hardware with some substantial losses. Please consider what you can do to help. Thanks https://gofund.me/bcfd2fca

A little change

Hi Friends,

For the past 54 years (since age 14) the fall has been a very busy time in my agricultural working life. While in high school I worked the almond harvest (with many of my classmates) and in subsequent years it seems that whether I was working in agriculture or horticulture the fall represented a time when there was a flurry of urgent and critical activity.

This year I have decided to take things a little easier. I have not planted my usual large fall garden. We will still keep our market open and I still have things to harvest and share with you, but I will not be doing pre-sales with the online market or be taking any pre-orders by other means. I will still send you a Sunday email with info about some of what we expect to have, what vendors will be here and other things to keep you inspired to come see us on Wednesdays. I want to thank you all for being such good and faithful customers. We intend to keep the market open until Thanksgiving with our other vendors and Kenny has told me he has some crops coming for the fall and will be joining us regularly also. We still look forward to seeing you all on Wednesdays and I fully intend to re-open the online market next spring.

Blessings,
Bob & Lynnita

Field Check - good news

Just came in from the back field and have some good news to share. A number of our Crimson Sweet watermelons will be ready to go on Wednesday. Don’t worry, Bob and Anita, I’ll make sure your name is on a couple of them!
