Market Open

Hi Friends,

We are here again this week with the addition of some cabbage, kale and chard. We also have lots of sweet squash which is now fully cured and rich in flavor. One of my favorites is the Jester variety, a perfect size for a simple, rich meal. Wishing all of you well with gratitude for your support of our little market.

Blessings,
Bob & Lynnita

Hi Folks,

The market is open for this week. Please note that we are shaving an hour off our pickup time and market hours. We will be open Wednesdays from 4 to 6 PM rather than 4 to 7 PM. If this creates a diffuculty for any of you, please email me and we can make arrangements for you.

Blessings, Bob & Lynnita

Hi Folks,

My Honey-do list is large today, so we are openng a little early. Lettuce is back on our list this week. It is a little immature yet, but still quite nice. Lynnita will be baking our Multi-Grain Bread this week too. Hope you all have a great week!

Hi All,

Sorry to be tardy today. I have been in the field harvesting pumpkins and butternuts enough to get us all through the winter. I hope this new week finds you well and we look forward to seeing you this week.

Hi Folks,

This week we are introducing two of my favorite items. These are individual size winter squash types that are absolutely delicious and nutritious. We have quite a large crop of winter squash this year and these two are the earliest. We only have a few this week, but we will have plenty more coming next month. These also store without refrigeration for a long time. Delicata and Sweet Dumpling are the two varieties this week. In September we will be adding a number of others. Split and baked like a baked potato, these are one of our go-to simple meals. We will again have tomatoes on our table for add-ons.

Our fall crops of lettuce, greens, cabbage, broccoli, beets, turnips, radishes, cauliflower, brussels sprouts and more are being transplanted this week. I love the fall garden with its freedom from bug and weed pressure!

Hope to see you Wednesday,
Bob and Lynnita
